Win more of the enquiries you already get

And stop driving out to price jobs that were never going to happen. This page shows where Orby is losing jobs today, what we would fix, what it could be worth in euro, and two working prototypes you can try.

Today

Where jobs slip away

1. Customers leave before they enquire

On your site today: the "Give me an estimate" button on the homepage doesn't go anywhere.

Someone looking for a rough price on a Sunday night can't get one, so they ring whichever landscaper's site does give them a figure.

2. Site visits to jobs that were never real

On your site today: the booking form asks for name, email, phone, service and location. No size, no budget, no photos.

You can't tell a €2,000 job from a €25,000 one until you're standing in the garden. Each wasted visit and write-up costs two to three hours.

3. Quotes that go quiet

In most trades: lost quotes don't get a no, they get silence. The job goes to whoever quoted first and followed up.

A quote written in the evenings days after the visit, with no follow-up, gives the customer time to go elsewhere.

The fix

What we would put in place

An estimate page that works

What you get
The dead button becomes a short estimate flow on your website: job type, size, finish, photos, Eircode, a rough price range and a site-visit slot from your diary.
What it changes
Customers get an answer at any hour. You get enquiries with photos and a budget attached, and you only drive out to the ones worth pricing.

Quote from the van

What you get
An itemised quote built on your phone from your own rates, with VAT, deposit and terms added for you.
What it changes
The customer has a professional quote the same day, while you're still fresh in their mind, and your evenings are your own.

Follow-ups that run themselves

What you get
A polite chaser on any quote with no answer after five days, and reminders to past customers when a patio is due a clean and reseal.
What it changes
Fewer quotes lost to silence, and steady repeat work from 25 years of finished gardens.
See it working

Two prototypes you can click through

Step 1 of 5

Try it as a customer would

  • Pick a job from the services you already offer.
  • Give a size, finish and site details. Rear access, old surfaces and slopes adjust the price the way you would.
  • Add photos and an Eircode, then see a price range and book a free site visit.
  • You receive the job type, size, budget range, photos and location before you ever leave Rush.

Rates here are placeholders from published Irish price guides. In the real version you set your own, and you can hide the price for any job you'd rather quote in person.

How we'd start

A three-week pilot, judged on jobs won

A fixed price agreed up front. Your website stays as it is apart from the estimate page, and nothing changes in how you run jobs on site.

Week 1

Estimate page live

Built on your website with your services, your rates and the site-visit slots you choose.

Week 2

Quote builder on your phone

Loaded with your rate list, VAT, deposit and terms. One quote done together on a real job.

Week 3

Follow-ups switched on

Quote chasers and aftercare reminders running, in your words, from your email.

Review

Look at the numbers

Enquiries, site visits, quotes sent and jobs won, side by side with before. You decide whether to keep going.

Next step: a coffee in Rush

Thirty minutes. Bring a rough idea of your enquiries, visits and average job size, and we'll run them through the numbers above together.

Beyond estimates and quotes, we also look at the wider setup: a review of the tools and systems you run on, your customer records, and past enquiries or old customers worth getting back in touch with. Any other technical questions you have are welcome too.
